The Access Anaesthetics Virtual Server allows you to access your data from any PC, including a Mac. It works the same way as the normal AA except that it runs on a remote cloud server that we manage. There are several advantages to this.

The system can be run from any Windows PC or Mac.
You don't need to worry about losing data if your PC is lost or damaged.
If required, multiple users can log on simultaneously (separate charge for each unique user).
Backups are made daily for each of the last 30 days.
Data files can be copied from the server if you want a personal backup.
Program updates are done for you.
The incidence of data file corruption is very low.
This is the full AA system, identical to the desktop system. Both single provider and group practice systems are available.
Eclipse is functional on the server, once you obtain your location certificate.
Documents print on your own printer.
Data is secure and confidential - only you and the server administrator have access. More details on security are here.
In late 2018, we migrated to a new server hosted by Macquarie Cloud Services, to accommodate new security requirements of Medicare for online transactions.

The cost for the virtual server option is the same as the standard annual AA subscription, plus an annual server fee for each unique user who needs to log on - this covers server space, hosting costs, terminal server licenses, backup services and administration.
