Edit in Excel

EditInExcelButton        Click the Edit in Excel button on the menu bar to export the data in the current list to an Excel spreadsheet file for further editing, analysis or printing. You will be asked to supply a file name for the Excel file. This will be stored in the Documents subfolder of your Access Anaesthetics folder (e.g. C:\Access Anaesthetics\Documents\MyExcelFile.xls).

 

This function allows you to export selected parts or all of your data to a spreadsheet format for further analysis or to be read by various commercial accounting software packages. (Specific export formatting for individual accounting packages is not built in to the system - this is left up to the individual user.) Only the columns which are currently displayed in the list will be exported. To export additional columns, first select a datasheet format which includes the desired columns.
