If an Eclipse claim fails for any reason it may become necessary to manually inactivate it in Access Anaesthetics. To do this, select 'Failed' or 'Canceled' from the green Status drop-down list on the top of the Eclipse tab. This won't transmit anything to Medicare, but will remove the claim from the list of active claims in Access Anaesthetics.

Note that if the claim has been transmitted then it will be processed by Medicare no matter what you do with this field. Changing the field only changes the way AA handles the claim, and does not transmit anything to Medicare. You should only need to do this if Medicare notifies you that the claim is not being processed.
