With some program updates, the data file structure needs to be modified. This is normally done automatically when a data file is opened. If you are getting errors indicating that the data file has not been updated, go to the Maintenance Menu, click <Refresh table links> and follow the prompts. This should update the data file version.

 

For group practices, the data file can only be updated when no other user has the file open. Consequently it is best to close AA on all PCs except one when doing updates. Then click Select Provider > Update data version. This will go through and update each data file to the latest version.
