In the ASA RVG schedule there are 2 items for unlisted services

CU999 UNLISTED ANAESTHESIA PROCEDURE(S)

CV999 UNLISTED special service

No unit values are attached to these items. It is up to the doctor to determine what the appropriate unit value and fee should be for these after consultation with colleagues, Medicare or the ASA.

To use these items in Access Anaesthetics, add them to the account in the normal way. Then click the <Edit item> button on the lower toolbar, and the <Edit> button in the dialog box. From here you will be able to insert the specific unit value and fee that has been determined appropriate for the procedure. If the number of units has been added, the fee will be automatically updated if the unit value is adjusted on the Fee page.

In the MBS schedule, items 21992 and 21997 may be equivalent to item CU999. If these items are used on an account, their fees may be adjusted in the same way as described above.
