For more details, or if you have not installed Eclipse before, see Eclipse installation.

1. Install the Eclipse Setup file.

2. Install Java (this may already be installed). You may also need to set a Java environment variable.

3. Install the Location Certificate

If you have previously used Eclipse, you can use your existing Location Certificate.

Copy the hic.psi file from the old installation to the new, putting it into the Access Anaesthetics folder. This contains the Medicare PKI location certificate. If you do this, you won't need to reinstall the certificate from the Medicare CD.

Make sure your Eclipse Menu > Setup points to this folder. If you leave this folder blank, AA will assume the file is in the same location as your data files. (Leaving it blank is a good option for groups if not all PCs have the same drive mapping to the data location.)

If you can't find the hic.psi file on the old PC, go to Control Panel > PKI Certificate Manager. This should open the certificate and the location will be shown in the title bar at the top of the window. Or you should be able to do the same by looking at the Site certificate folder in the window displayed above.

If this fails, install the certificate from the CD using the instructions on our Eclipse webpage.
