Sometimes Access Anaesthetics gets into trouble and won't open correctly. If so, you may be prompted to open the AA Emergency Recovery Utility to try to fix the problem.

You can also open this utility at any time by opening the file AAEmergencyUtility.mde in the Access Anaesthetics folder of any PC.

If you are using Access 97, or the 97 runtime, open the AAEmergencyRecovery97.mde file.

Read the information that appears when you hover the mouse over each option. After running an option, try to re-open AA to see if the problem has been resolved.

This application is not for general housekeeping - it will rarely be needed - usually only if AA does not open correctly.
