Maintenance Log

The Maintenance Log is a record of user activity in Access Anaesthetics. The log records opening and closing of Access Anaesthetics, switching of data files for multiuser versions, deletions of accounts, payments and batch payments, unexpected errors encountered and backups performed.

For each event, the time, computer name, user name, activity type and details are recorded. The last 1000 entries are recorded; older entries are deleted automatically. Records cannot be manually deleted from the maintenance log, but the entire log may be cleared after entering a password. If cleared, a note to this effect is recorded, and this note cannot be deleted.

The log can be viewed by selecting Maintenance Log from the Tools menu on the File Management screen. It can also be saved to a csv file for additional analysis.
