Access Anaesthetics will perform almost identically in all versions of Microsoft Access from Access 97 to the most recent Office 365 versions. The differences with different versions are as follows ...

 

Access 2000 and above

Conditional formatting in list views displays data in different colours depending on the value of the field. For example, Overdue accounts are shown in red, Ready to send are shown in green.

 

Access 2007 and above

Accounts and reports can be saved as PDF files and may be attached to email messages directly within AA. In earlier versions of Access, a separate PDF application was required to create PDF files.

 

If you want to upgrade your Access version, the simplest method is to install the Access 2007 or Access 2010 Runtime from Microsoft.

 

Access 2013 and above

These versions use the Microsoft 'ribbon' which is not ideal for AA users for these reasons.
