How do I bill AHSA funds?

The Australian Health Service Alliance (AHSA) is not a health fund. It is an umbrella group which provides a gap-cover scheme used  by a number of participating health funds. These all use the same fee schedule. To bill an AHSA fund, you should send the account directly to the health fund, not to AHSA, and use the AHSA fee schedule for the appropriate state.

The participating funds have entries in the addresses table in Access Anaesthetics and most also have an Eclipse code. Each fund uses the AHSA fee schedule appropriate to the state, e.g. AHSA_NSW. If the fund you are looking for is not in the list, click the <New> button and add the relevant details.

See www.ahsa.com.au for more information.
