Once an account has been deleted, it is gone, and cannot be recovered.

You may be able to recover the account from a backup file, if you have one. This may or may not be up to date.

To try to recover the account from a backup, select 'Import account from backup' from the Tools menu in the Account Details screen.

Click the open file button on the right of the top field to select the backup file. This will first navigate to the AutomaticBackups folder. Select the most recent backup file as a starting point.

After selecting a file, click the blue text to view the accounts in the file. Note the account you want to restore and type the account number into the next field. This will be imported into a new record and given the next available account number.

Alternatively, type the original account number and it will be assigned this number provided it does not already exist in the current data file.

Notes:

This function will not import batch payments or Eclipse claims.
If you don't have a backup, you obviously can't import an account from it.
If you have zipped backup, you first need to unzip it before using this process. To unzip a backup file, right click on it and select an option to Extract.
