Can I delete an Eclipse claim?

Eclipse claims normally can't be deleted. This is because, once sent, they are recorded by Medicare and the health fund and any reports that are retrieved can't be matched to the claim. This can cause errors and leave orphaned reports which have no links to accounts.

 

Instead we recommend setting the claim status to 'Completed' or 'Cancelled' (if it is not already) and writing a note in the 'Notes' box at the bottom.

 

If, after this advice, you still want to delete the claims, contact technical support for instructions.
